REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY · UPDATED OCTOBER 8, 2026

Cancel any time, and transparent billing.

Show Up Nearby subscriptions renew monthly per location until canceled. You can cancel any time; refunds, credits, compensation, and billing disputes always receive human review.

01

Monthly subscriptions

Each paid business location is billed monthly at the price displayed before checkout, plus applicable taxes if any. By completing Stripe Checkout, you authorize recurring monthly charges until that location’s subscription is canceled. There are no long-term commitments or early cancellation fees unless a separate signed agreement expressly says otherwise.

02

How to request cancellation

A workspace owner or a team member with the “Billing” permission can cancel a location’s subscription themselves: open Workspace settings, choose Plan & billing, then Manage all billing, which opens our billing portal, and cancel the subscription there. You can also email support@showupnearby.com and a person completes the cancellation for you. Our AI assistant may gather the affected business, location, account email, and reason so a request reaches the right person, but it cannot cancel the subscription. You are not required to accept another offer.

03

Confirmation and effective date

A cancellation made in the billing portal is confirmed there and takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period; Plan & billing then shows that date as Access through. A cancellation requested by email is complete when Show Up Nearby sends confirmation; human follow-up is provided within 24 hours, although completion or technical work may occur on business days, and it also takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period. You keep paid access through that date and no further renewal is charged for that canceled location.

04

Refunds, credits, and billing disputes

Subscription payments are generally non-refundable after a billing period begins. Duplicate, unauthorized, or incorrect charges, confirmed material service failures, and legally required refunds may be eligible for review. Every refund, credit, compensation, proration, or billing-dispute decision is made by a person. Neither the AI assistant nor an automated workflow can promise or issue an adjustment.

05

Requesting a billing review

Email support@showupnearby.com promptly—preferably within 7 days of the charge—and include the account email, business name, affected location, charge date, amount, and reason. Do not send full card numbers, security codes, passwords, or one-time codes. We will acknowledge the request, review the account and payment record, and provide a human decision or request reasonably necessary information.

06

Plan changes and additional locations

Each location may have its own subscription, goals, reporting, and Nearby Proof setup. Canceling one location does not cancel the others. The billing portal may display invoices, receipts, and payment-method controls. Taxes, negotiated pricing, promotional credits, proration, and account-specific adjustments require human review.

07

Access after a subscription ends

After all paid subscriptions end, you may still be able to sign in and retain the account, but paid dashboard, library, reporting, publishing, directory, and other premium capabilities become locked or expire according to the plan. Reactivation requires an eligible paid subscription and may require renewed platform access or setup.
